Lean Workshops

Why is it that most companies attempting to go Lean do not achieve nearly the results that are trumpeted in every trade journal and business magazine? The answer, quite simply, is that Lean is a process in which companies must continually learn and adjust. A through understanding of the complete set of the Lean tools and the knowledge of when and how to apply each tool is a base requirement for any company attempting a Lean Initiative.  Most companies attempt Lean without having built the strong knowledge base required.

At Sterling Management, we believe that training is the single greatest factor in the successful transition to a Lean Culture. Our Workshops are geared towards helping manufacturing companies gain the required skills to successfully implement Lean using existing company resources.

All of our Workshops are hands-on and practical, not theory-focused seminars. Attendees are not just shown what tools are available, they are trained in the application of the tools covered by the workshop. For many of our workshops, attendees are asked to prepare by familiarizing themselves with material before attending. In these situations, review materials will be provided with registration confirmation.

We regularly schedule each of our workshops as open enrollment programs around the country. We also offer each workshop as an in-house session to individual companies. In these circumstances, we are able to use company data and equipment to demonstrate the various techniques. To inquire about an in-house workshop, contact us.
